Canada adds blood clot information to label of vaccine received from India

Canada's health department continued to back Oxford/AstraZeneca's COVID-19 vaccine even as it updated its label to provide information on very rare reports of blood clots associated with low levels of blood platelets following an immunisation shot. Canada is using Covishield vaccine received from India. Health Canada said it has not received any reports of these blood clots to date.
