Canada changes tone in favour of India, says New Delhi no longer linked to violent crimes

A Canadian official told Toronto Star that the federal government believes India is no longer linked to violent crimes in Canada. This comes ahead of Canadian PM Mark Carney's India visit. Carney's predecessor, Justin Trudeau, had repeatedly accused India of committing crimes in Canada without giving solid proof. Trudeau had even blamed India for Khalistani separatist Hardeep Nijjar's murder.
