Canada first-ever FIFA WC team to co-host tournament and play away

Canada have become the first-ever FIFA World Cup side to co-host the tournament and play away, according to The Athletic. The historic first came in their FIFA World Cup 2026 Round of 32 clash against South Africa at the Los Angeles Stadium in the US on Monday (IST). Canada will play their Round of 16 game at the Houston Stadium.
