Canada lauds India over EU deal by mocking US tariffs, says 'Perfect example of saying no'

Canada praised India for signing EU trade deal while indirectly taking a dig at US President Donald Trump’s tariffs. Canada's Energy Minister Tim Hodgson said, "You [India] just did it...signing 'mother of all deals' was a perfect example of saying no. We...won't live in a world where...the strongest put tariffs on everyone." Notably, US has threatened Canada with 100% tariffs.
