Canada offers LNG, oil to India as Iran war threatens supplies

Canada has offered to supply oil and liquefied natural gas (LNG) to India as the ongoing war in Middle East has disrupted global energy flows and threatened shipping through the Strait of Hormuz. "India’s energy demand is increasing faster than anywhere else in the world. As an energy superpower, Canada is well-positioned to seize this opportunity," PM Mark Carney said.
