Canada PM gets standing ovation after his dig at Trump's tariffs in EU Parliament
Canadian PM Mark Carney received a standing ovation for his speech in the European Parliament, which took a dig at US President Donald Trump's tariff threats. "[We're] being rocked by...the use of trade as a weapon...multilateral institutions have been weakened...and tariffs [are being used] as a means of pressure," Carney said. EU has invited Canada to become an "associate member".
