Canada PM to use rare emergency powers to end truckers' protest: Reports

Canadian PM Justin Trudeau will invoke a rare emergency law to give the federal government extraordinary powers to deal with ongoing truckers' protests against the COVID-19 mandate, as per reports. However, Trudeau isn't expected to call in the military. The Emergencies Act was used by Trudeau's father in 1970 and was invoked twice during the two world wars.
