Canada probes Nike over alleged use of forced Uyghur labour

Canada launched an investigation into Nike Canada to probe allegations that the firm used or benefitted from forced Uyghur labour in their supply chains and operations in China. The investigation has been launched based on complaints filed by coalition of 28 civil society organisations. Nike said they no longer have ties to the firms accused of using forced Uyghur labour.
