Canada sanctions Haiti's former Prez, 2 ex-PMs for financing gangs
Canada has sanctioned Haiti's former President Michel Martelly and two former Haitian PMs for their roles in financing gangs, Canada's ambassador to Haiti said on Sunday. In September, Haitian gangs created a humanitarian crisis by blocking a fuel terminal for nearly six weeks. Canada, along with the US and the UN, has sanctioned political leaders who allegedly financed the gangs.
