Canada to prioritise higher-paying jobs for permanent residency

Canada is set to revise its Express Entry immigration system, prioritising candidates in higher-paying jobs for permanent residency. The Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) will include a new 'high-wage" factor that gives extra points to applicants earning 1.3x, 1.5x, or 2x the annual median wage, CIC News reported. Here, high-wage is based on typical occupation earnings, not individual salary.
