Canada, US' electric aircraft firms want to manufacture in India: Scindia

Several electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) companies from the US and Canada are interested in setting up units in India, Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia said on Tuesday. He added that eVTOL aircrafts are currently being used by the defence forces of the two countries. An e-VTOL aircraft uses electric power to hover, take off and land vertically.
