Canadian Foreign Min to visit Ukraine, vows to deter Russian 'aggression'

Canadian Foreign Minister Melanie Joly said she'll visit Kyiv next week to reaffirm support for Ukrainian sovereignty and reinforce efforts to deter "aggressive actions" by Russia. This comes as the US claimed that Russia is plotting to stage acts of provocation to create a pretext to invade Ukraine. Russia has stationed more than 1,00,000 troops near its border with Ukraine.
