Canadian lawmakers pass bill criminalising LGBT conversion therapy

Canada's House of Commons on Tuesday passed a bill that will criminalise LGBT conversion therapy. The House passed the bill with 263 votes in favour and 63 votes against it. "Conversion therapy has no place in Canada," Prime Minister Justin Trudeau tweeted after the vote. "We will always stand up for LGBTQ2 Canadians and their rights," Trudeau added.
