Canadian man plants 47,000 mangrove trees in 24 hrs, sets record
Canadian environmentalist Antoine Moses has set a new Guinness World Record by planting 47,460 mangrove saplings in just 24 hours along the coast of Mombasa in Kenya. He carried out the plantation in partnership with local conservation groups and the environmental monitoring platform Veritree. This surpassed his own previous world record of planting 23,060 trees in 24 hours in 2021.
