Canadian MP Arya barred from entering Liberal leadership race

Indian-origin Canadian MP Chandra Arya has been barred from participating in the race to become the next leader of the ruling Liberal Party. "I was informed by the Liberal Party of Canada that I won't be permitted to enter the leadership race," he wrote on X.
