Cancer survivor cracks UPSC after 8-yr-battle, says 'Experience made me strong'

Sanjay Dahariya, who was diagnosed with cancer in 2011 and underwent four operations between 2011 and 2018, secured AIR 946 in UPSC exam. "I went through 28 cycles of radiation in these eight years," he stated. "My facial nerves which passed through...gland had to be removed and now I cannot feel anything on...right side of my face," Sanjay added.
