Taking to Twitter on Saturday, Richa Chadha wrote that cannabis is one of the five sacred plants mentioned in Atharvaveda. She added that when the world is waking up to the medicinal benefits of marijuana, "we have boomers frothing at the mouth shouting DRUGS". "Ignorant people do not have the right to insult our heritage or faith," Richa further wrote.
