Can't hack Aadhaar data in billion attempts: IT Minister

Union Law and IT Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad has said that a hacker cannot enter the Aadhaar database in a billion attempts. He added that Aadhaar authentication does not require private information of applicants such as income, medical records, and caste, which can be used for trolling. "Aadhaar is your homegrown technology (at) one dollar each," he further said.
