Can't imagine how a film can be banned: CJI on Padmaavat row
Talking about the controversy that surrounded Sanjay Leela Bhansali's film 'Padmaavat', Chief Justice of India Dipak Misra on Thursday said, "I cannot really conceive how a film can be banned." "If [Supreme Court] upheld the right of the producer to show 'Bandit Queen', then 'Padmaavat' was nothing. It is a poem presented in celluloid, that's what court said," he added.
