Can't kiss her goodbye, Indian govt considers me a criminal: Leena on grandmother's death

Filmmaker Leena Manimekalai, who faces FIRs over a film poster wherein goddess Kali is shown smoking, shared news of her grandmother's death and described how she couldn't "kiss her a goodbye". "I'm stuck in Toronto because I'm a 'criminal' according to Indian Government," she stated. "I don't understand why I'm alive when I can't even kiss her...farewell," Leena added.
