CAQM frames new policy to fight air pollution in Delhi-NCR

The Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM) on Wednesday unveiled a new policy to curb air pollution in Delhi and National Capital Region (NCR). The policy lists sector-wise action plans to reduce air pollution in the next five years. One of the measures the policy suggests is the phasing out of diesel-run auto-rickshaws in NCR by December 31, 2026.
