Car bearing number 13 stays unclaimed as Kerala ministers avoid 'unlucky' number

Days after Kerala CM VD Satheesan and his 20-member Cabinet were sworn in, ministers quickly picked official vehicle numbers 1 to 12, TOI reported. However, vehicle number 13 remains unallotted, as it's considered ‘unlucky’ in Kerala's political circles. Interestingly, Congress leader CK Hareendran chose room 13 at the MLA hostel to defy superstition, but vehicle number 13 remains unclaimed.
