Car rams crowd at Newcastle Knights farewell, 9 injured

At least nine people were injured, two critically, after a car crashed into a crowd gathered in Newcastle, Australia, to farewell the Knights ahead of the NRL grand final. The driver was arrested in Wallsend suburb. Mayor Gavin Morris said the driver apparently lost control after revving the engine. PM Albanese expressed condolences.
