Carlsen wins World Blitz Championship along with Nepo after jeans controversy

World number one chess player Magnus Carlsen won World Blitz Championship 2024 along with Russia's Ian Nepomniachtchi (Nepo). The final was tied at 2-2 when it went into sudden death tie-break. Carlsen proposed to Nepo that they share trophy after three consecutive draws in tie-break. Earlier, Carlsen had withdrawn from tournament after being suspended from Rapid event for wearing jeans.
