On Friday, May 23, former world number four, Caroline Garcia announced retirement from professional tennis. Garcia, who has been in competitive tennis for past 15 years, confirmed that the upcoming 2025 French Open, which is set to be played from May 25 till June 8, will be her final Gland Slam appearance in the French capital.
