Carragher apologises to Aston Villa after club threaten legal action

Former Liverpool footballer Jamie Carragher has apologised for his remarks about Aston Villa after the club announced plans to take legal action against him. "My language...was clumsy and wrong. I can assure Villa fans it was tongue-in-cheek, but I can understand it has not come across that way," he said. Carragher had stated, "Aston Villa will never be Manchester United."
