Carrot weighing 10 kg sets world's heaviest carrot record

A gardener from the United States has set the Guinness World Record for growing the world's heaviest carrot, which weighs 10.17 kg. The gardener, Christopher Qualley said, "my strategy was to imitate what all of the experienced growers across the world were doing... Soil, seed, weather and a little luck are the most important things in my book."
