Cartoon Network has been rumored to be permanently shutting down. The network issued a statement clarifying that there is no truth to the rumour. It said, "Cartoon Network would like to clarify that there is no truth to the speculation that the network or the studio is shutting down...we remain committed to continually investing in innovative content."
