People realising life can be easier: FM on tech in account keeping

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, speaking about bringing technology to account keeping when she initially joined the ministry, said people have realised that technology has made tax filing easier. Speaking at an ICAI event, Sitharaman said that pre-filled tax forms from the CBDT made clients and CAs breathe a sigh of relief and increased trust in the tax filing exercise.
