Case filed over files missing from ex-Odisha CM Patnaik's office

The Odisha government on Wednesday filed a case over the disappearance of files of inquiry reports from former CM Naveen Patnaik's office in 2024. The reports are related to the killing of VHP leader Laxmanananda Saraswati in 2008 and a fire incident at the SUM hospital, which killed 22 people in 2016. The reports are presently untraceable in official records.
