CBI arrests IAS officer in ₹60.54-crore IDFC First Bank fund fraud

The CBI has arrested senior IAS officer Pankaj Agarwal in connection with the IDFC First Bank fund misappropriation case. The probe relates to the alleged diversion of government funds from accounts belonging to the Haryana School Shiksha Pariyojna Parishad and the Haryana State Agricultural Marketing Board. Investigators estimate the fraud caused a loss of ₹60.54 crore to the government.
