CBI books 8 in ₹1.14‑crore patient welfare grant scam at PGI

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Thursday registered an FIR against eight people, including six PGIMER Chandigarh employees, one retired in 2020, and a campus photocopy shop owner in a ₹1.14-crore patient welfare grant scam. The case also names other unknown public servants, private persons, firms and companies that may have been involved.
