CBI books Kishore Biyani in ₹904 crore SBI fraud case

The CBI has registered a case against Future Retail Ltd, promoters Kishore Biyani and Rakesh Biyani over an alleged ₹904.32 crore bank fraud involving SBI and a nine-bank consortium. The accused allegedly diverted funds sanctioned as working capital and term loans through associate companies. Searches were conducted at multiple Mumbai premises on November 4, with documents seized.
