CBI charges 5 IDFC First Bank staff members, 2 shell firms in ₹657 cr fraud case

CBI named five IDFC First Bank officials and two shell companies in a new chargesheet naming 13 accused for siphoning ₹75.34 crore of government funds from Chandigarh Renewable Energy Science and Technical Promotion Society (CREST). CBI had registered 3 FIRs in the case after Chandigarh and Haryana's governments alleged fraud of ₹657 crore. The new chargesheet included two CREST officials.
