CBI files FIR against athlete Sachin Poswal for forging IDs to evade ban

CBI has registered an FIR against athlete Sachin Poswal over cheating and forgery. He allegedly deceived the Athletics Federation of India (AFI) by generating different unique IDs using fake and forged Aadhaar cards and false credentials to evade a four-year doping ban imposed in 2024. Poswal reportedly continued participating in competitions under different names despite the ban.
