CBI files new case against NDTV founders for violating FDI rules

The CBI has registered a fresh FIR against NDTV founders Prannoy Roy, Radhika Roy and former CEO Vikram Chandra for "bringing tainted money of unknown public servants" into India by violating FDI rules. NDTV allegedly floated 32 subsidiaries all over the world, "mostly in tax havens", between 2004 and 2010 to bring foreign funds to India through illegal transactions.
