CBI officer forced to buy ₹14,999 TV for ₹49,990, wins ₹70,000 payout in Andhra Pradesh

An Assistant Director at CBI in Vijayawada won a ₹70,000 payout from an e-commerce website after his 65-inch TV was delivered to the wrong address. The officer claimed he bought the TV in 2024 for ₹14,999 while it was on sale. After the mix-up, the company refunded the money, but the officer was forced to purchase the TV for ₹49,900.
