CBI or NIA should probe, we will monitor: SC after judicial officers held hostage

Reacting to seven judicial officers being held hostage in West Bengal's Malda for nine hours, the Supreme Court said CBI or NIA should probe the incident and it will monitor the probe. CJI Surya Kant said he was "monitoring everything till 2 AM". The officers were rescued at 1 AM today. The vehicles evacuating the officers were also attacked.
