CBI questions Vijay on Karur stampede for 6 hrs, summoned again

Actor-politician Vijay was questioned by the CBI for six hours in relation to the Karur stampede case, which killed 41 people and injured 60. As per PTI, Vijay was summoned again for further clarification on January 13, but the actor requested an alternative date, citing Pongal. The stampede occurred on September 27, 2025, during a TVK rally in Tamil Nadu.
