CBI seizes ₹1.08 crore cash, 252 grams gold in crypto fraud case

CBI conducted searches across 11 locations in Delhi and Haryana on Friday in connection to a crypto fraud case. During the searches, officials seized ₹1.08 crore cash, 252 grams of gold, foreign currency worth $1,000 and electronic devices. CBI said the cyber criminals impersonated government officers and also offered fake technical support consultations to defraud people.
