The CBI has taken over the probe into the alleged Yamuna Expressway scam and booked former CEO of Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) PC Gupta and 20 others. Uttar Pradesh government has alleged that YEIDA had purchased land in seven Mathura villages for ₹85 crore between 2013-15 which resulted in a loss of ₹126 crore to the government.
