CBSE ignored pilot-test suggestion before digital evaluation rollout

The members of CBSE's governing body had suggested that On-Screen Marking (OSM) system should undergo pilot testing across regional offices, according to minutes of a June 2025 meeting. However, no such pilot exercises were conducted before the nationwide rollout this year across CBSE's 22 regional offices. Notably, reports have emerged of alleged discrepancies in On-Screen Marking system.
