CBSE scraps 'grace marks' policy for difficult questions
The CBSE on Tuesday scrapped the moderation policy under which 15% 'grace marks' were given to students in exams for difficult questions. However, the CBSE clarified that the practice of awarding grace marks will continue for the students who narrowly miss the passing-mark. The move, beginning this academic session, is expected to result in lower cut-offs in university entrances.
