CBSE to introduce three-language formula for Class 6 in 2026-27

The Central Board of Secondary Education plans to implement the three-language formula from the National Education Policy 2020 starting in the 2026-27 academic year for Class 6 students. This initiative will require students to learn three languages, including at least two Indian languages, with English classified as a foreign language.
