CCI approves Flipkart's acquisition of 7.8% stake in Aditya Birla for ₹1,500 cr

The Competition Commission of India (CCI) on Wednesday approved Flipkart's acquisition of a 7.8% minority stake in Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail for ₹1,500 crore. The deal was first announced in October 2020. As part of the deal, Flipkart will also sell and distribute various Aditya Birla Fashion's brands on its e-commerce platforms Flipkart and Myntra.
