CCI clears Alphabet's ₹3,000 crore investment in Flipkart

The Competition Commission of India (CCI) has approved Google-parent Alphabet's investment of around $350 million (about ₹3,000 crore) to buy a minority stake in Flipkart. The investment will be made by Alphabet subsidiary Shoreline International Holdings. Alphabet is investing as part of a $1 billion funding round, in which owner Walmart has already infused $600 million.
