CCPA fines English Oven, Storia Foods ₹1 lakh each over misleading '100%' claims

Central Consumer Protection Authority (CCPA) has fined Mrs. Bectors' English Oven and Storia Foods ₹1 lakh each for displaying misleading "100%" claims on their packaging, websites, etc. The consumer watchdog noted that English Oven admitted its bread products contained 87% whole wheat flour despite "100% Atta" and "100% Whole Wheat" claims. It also ordered them to immediately stop such claims.
