CCTVs failed for over an hour at EVM storage room in MP, admits EC

The Election Commission (EC) has admitted that CCTV cameras installed at an electronic voting machines (EVMs) storage room in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, did not function for over an hour due to a power cut. "An inverter and a generator have been installed in order to ensure continuous electricity supply," the EC said, adding that the machines are "perfectly safe".
