Ceiling fan falls on toddler at Kollam anganwadi in Kerala

A three-year-old boy suffered minor injuries after a ceiling fan detached and fell on him at an anganwadi centre operating from a rented building in Thirumullavaram in Kerala. The incident occurred around 10:30 am, when only one staff member was present, as the teacher was on leave. The old, dysfunctional fan, reportedly left unrepaired for a long time, suddenly gave way.
