Celebrity chef Oliver's restaurant empire collapses, 1,000 jobs lost

British celebrity chef Jamie Oliver's restaurant chain went into administration on Tuesday, leaving 1,000 people without jobs. Twenty-two of the 25 UK restaurants in Oliver's restaurant group, which includes Jamie's Italian chain, Fifteen London and Barbecoa, have now closed. "I'm deeply saddened by this outcome and would like to thank all of the staff and our suppliers," the 43-year-old said.
